About me
Annie immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 1992 as an English language learner (ELL). She holds an MEd in EAL teaching from the University of Calgary and has over 18 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles with Edmonton Public Schools and the Calgary Board of Education. Currently an EAL Consultant with EPSB, Annie supports newcomer families, students, and teachers. She enjoys “geeking out” and exploring ways to harness technology to enhance teaching and learning. She looks forward to embarking on new AI frontiers with you and her co-presenter in crime!
