About me
Dr. Laura Taylor is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream, and an ELL specialist at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. With A Master’s degree in TESOL and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of York, Dr. Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of language education. Specializing in second-language (L2) writing courses, Dr. Taylor is dedicated to empowering students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in their writing endeavors. In addition to writing, Dr. Taylor also teaches a course on Communication Among Cultures, fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds. Through a commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments, Dr. Taylor inspires students to embrace their linguistic journeys and develop as confident communicators in both academic and global contexts.
